The guest house allows you to immerse yourself in the life of the sanctuary.
While offering you a few days of peace, you allow L’Autre Ferme to finance the facilities and care for the animals: the income from the rooms and table d’hôtes is used entirely for our mission.
The house was a noble stronghold from the 17th to the 19th century, property and residence of the Veyret family. On May 16, 1645, we find there a François Barthe, squire, sieur de Grange-Neuve. The rounded porch dates from the 17th century and the house has retained its old basket-handle doors as well as a magnificent interior staircase.
The rooms are equipped with new ecological bedding and linen sheets. They are located on the 1st floor, a strategic height for observing the comings and goings of birds, sheep or even the vegetables growing in the vegetable garden. On the ground floor, a large shower room is shared by the three bedrooms.
We offer you a table d’hôte and 100% plant-based breakfasts, homemade and composed of as many local, organic and seasonal products as possible.
Being an animal shelter, we do not consume any products of animal origin.
We sometimes organize vegan cooking workshops, follow us on Instagram to find out the dates!
Outside, tables, chairs, deckchairs or hammocks open their arms to you to rest or work in peace, observe the animals or the sky.
The hammock at the edge of the pond is particularly popular for naps.
The cats Titus and Rosalie and Nana the dog live in the house, they are at home there.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept your animal companions. Experience shows us that it is too dangerous for the safety of our chickens who roam freely in our garden…
At L’Autre Ferme, the quality of life of the rescued animals is as important as the warm welcome from our guests. This is why you will not be able to enter the meadows but it is possible to observe them from the fences. And to sympathize with those of them who come to say hello!
